AmpIn Energy Transition, a private-sector power producer and energy transition company, has entered into a partnership with Varroc, an automobile component manufacturer, to supply 33.1 MW of solar power to Varroc’s manufacturing plants in Maharashtra.
AmpIn has 112 MWp of solar portfolio in Maharashtra, having commissioned multiple back-to-back solar open-access projects in the state.
It will supply power to Varroc from its state-of-the-art 105 MWp solar park in Parbhani, Maharashtra.
The solar power supply will meet an impressive 65%-75% of Varroc’s total power requirement in seven of its manufacturing plants in Maharashtra, thereby substantially reducing its carbon footprint.
AmpIn Energy Transition has a total RE portfolio of 3 GWp spread across 17 states in the country. Headquartered in New Delhi with regional offices in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata, AmpIn Energy Transition has a balanced portfolio of C&I and utility customers.
