Log9 Materials (Log9) has selected Gamma Technologies’ GT-SUITE of multi-physics system simulation software to aid in the thermal engineering of its battery cells.
Log9 develops Li-ion cells for electric vehicles. The company claims its RapidX series of EV batteries to be extremely durable, with the ability to last longer than conventional batteries without losing their efficiency.
Gamma will work with the various teams at Log9 to empower them with simulation-aided decision-making to develop next-generation battery cells and mobility technologies.
GT’s simulation software, GT-SUITE, enables system integration, analysis, and optimization through physics-based libraries. The company also develops the electrochemical simulation software, GT-AutoLion, used by battery suppliers and OEMs for cell and pack design.
