KEC secures transmission line orders in Middle East, Europe

KEC International Ltd, an infrastructure EPC major and an RPG Group Co., announced today it has secured new orders worth INR 1,005 crore across its transmission and distribution, railways, and cables businesses.

The company’s transmission & distribution (T&D) business has secured orders for T&D and cabling projects in India, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. This includes 220 and 400 kV overhead transmission lines in the Middle East, 110 kV transmission lines in Europe, supply of towers in the Middle East, Africa ,and the Americas, supply of hardware and poles in the Americas, and 220kV cabling works in India from a global steel producer.

KEC has also secured an order for 25 kV overhead electrification and associated works for railways in India, in addition to orders for supply of various types of cables in India and overseas.

The orders in the T&D business have expanded the company’s order book in the Middle East outside Saudi.

KEC International has a presence in the power transmission and distribution, railways, civil, urban infrastructure, solar, oil & gas pipelines, and cables verticals. The company is currently executing infrastructure projects in 30+ countries and has a footprint in 110+ countries (across EPC and supply of towers and cables).
