Erisha E-Mobility, Uttarakhand Govt sign MoU worth INR 1,900 crore

The Uttarakhand Government has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Erisha E Mobility to establish an electric vehicle (EV) park and deploy 100 state-of-the-art EV charging hubs across Uttarakhand.

The EV park is proposed in 320 acres with an investment of INR 1500 crore. It will be developed as a hub for innovation, research, and development in the field of electric mobility, providing a platform for EV manufacturing, ancillary units, technology providers, and researchers to collaborate and foster the growth of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Uttarakhand.

Additionally, the project aims to establish a robust charging infrastructure with the installation of 100 EV charging hubs with an investment of INR 400 crore. These hubs will be strategically located across the state.

Erisha E Mobility, part of Rana Group, aims to manufacture, market, and export products across all electric vehicle segments, including electric 3-wheelers (passenger and cargo vehicles), municipal E-dump trucks, E-commercial vehicles, E- buses, E- 2 wheelers and hydrogen fuel cell buses. It plans to develop hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen combustion engines under collaboration with a European partner.
