Adani Green Energy has committed to invest INR 24,500 crore (around $2.95 billion) in setting up three pump storage projects in Tamil Nadu in the next five to seven years. It is targeting a total capacity of 4.9 GW through facilities in Thenmalai, Alleri, and Aliyar.
Tata Power will expand its presence in the state with an INR 70,000-crore investment to develop 10 GW of solar and wind power capacity over the next five to seven years.
