Gensol Engineering has announced it has been awarded EPC contracts for two solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 422.5 MW DC. The awarded capacity includes a 250 MW AC (350 MW DC) interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected solar power project in Rajasthan and a 50 MW AC (72.5 MW DC) plant in Maharashtra. The projects are valued at INR 337.70 crore.
Gensol’s scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services, with modules as free-issue items.
Established in 2012, Gensol Engineering Ltd, the flagship company within the Gensol group, has installed both ground-mounted and rooftop solar installations totalling more than 600 MW. Venturing beyond solar, Gensol has established a state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) production facility in Pune, India.
