Polycab introduced PSIT series three-phase inverters for residential and commercial rooftop solar PV projects at Intersolar India 2024 last week. With a maximum input current, the inverters are compatible with 600 W+ modules.
The inverters are equipped with two maximum power point trackers (MPPT). The maximum number of PV strings that can be connected to MPPTs is two (one string per MPPT) for 5-10 kW inverters, three (1/2) for 12 kW and 15 kW inverters, and four (2/2) for 20 kW-30 kW models. The MPPT voltage range for all products is 160 V to 1000 V.
The inverters measure 398x460x190 mm and weigh 16 kg (models 5-10 kW), 18.7 kg (models 12 and 15 kW), and 20 kg (models 20-30 kW). These come with a seven-year warranty.
