Adani Group will invest close to INR 28,000 crore (around $3.38 billion) in setting up 3,410 MW of pumped storage projects in Madhya Pradesh, said Pranav Adani, director, Adani Enterprises Ltd, at the Madhya Pradesh Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain.
Earlier this year, Adani Group also committed to invest INR 24,500 crore in setting up three pump storage projects in Tamil Nadu in the next five to seven years. It is targeting a capacity of 4.9 GW in Tamil Nadu through facilities in Thenmalai, Alleri, and Aliyar.
The Group will also set up 1.35 GW of pump storage projects with an investment of over INR 5,000 crore in Telangana.
