Gensol Engineering appoints CEO for Middle East solar EPC business

Gensol Engineering Ltd, a solar EPC and electric mobility solutions provider, has appointed Kapil K Nirmal as the chief executive officer (CEO) for its solar EPC operations in the Middle East region.

Nirmal has over 18 years of experience in business development, new market establishments, and implementation of key projects. He has held key positions with top organisations like Emirates Electrical Engineering, Al Rostamani Group, Siraj Power Contracting, and Amplus Energy Solutions.

Gensol has established over 600 MW of solar capacity across rooftop, ground-mounted, and floating installations in India. These projects have been completed under both turnkey and balance-of-system arrangements.

“[Nirmal’s] experience in creating strategies for developing more than 5 GW of solar PV projects globally, along with design and engineering experience of 1 GW+ solar PV, will be vital to Gensol’s success in the region,” stated Gensol.
