Saatvik Solar has appointed Kuldeep Jain as chief operating officer (COO) for its solar EPC and independent power production projects. With this strategic appointment, the company aims to bolster its presence in the solar projects globally.
Jain brings to Saatvik Solar over 39 years of experience across a spectrum of verticals including solar PV, solar RESCO, solar thermal, marine and Indian Navy projects, fuel/gas-based power plants, hydro power, and piping projects in India, the Middle East, and African regions. He has held leadership roles with organizations such as Lanco, Astonfield, Vikram Solar, Sangam Renewables Ltd and Azure Power. He has also worked with BST MFG Ltd (Raunaq Group), Triveni Engineering Works, and Warstila India/Finland.
Essar Power gets CEO for renewables
Essar Power has appointed Ankur Kumar as the CEO of Renewables business. Ankur will collaborate closely with the Essar Power board and leadership team to establish a renewable ecosystem in India.
Ankur brings over 24 years of experience in sectors like renewable energy and public infrastructure. During his previous stints as CEO of ACME Solar Holdings, and as part of the leadership team at TBEA Xinjiang Sunoasis Co. Ltd, he honed his skills at leading green hydrogen and ammonia businesses.
Ankur’s expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, encompassing new project bidding, engineering, procurement, execution, operation, and maintenance across diverse solar, wind, and hybrid projects.
