AMPIN Energy Transition has commissioned a 135 MWp solar project in the Indian state of Rajasthan. This is AMPIN’s second solar project in Rajasthan, a state where it is developing 1 GW of utility scale projects.
The 135 MWp project is spread across 585 acres of land in Phalodi, Rajasthan. It will supply power under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corp. of India.
The project, utilizing single-axis trackers, was completed in a remarkable timeframe of six months ahead of the scheduled date, stated the developer. “The construction of this project was completed from start to finish in a record time of just four months, which is a tremendous feat considering the project’s significant scale and the terrain of the site.”
