NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has invited domestic bids to develop a 260 MW grid-connected solar PV project in the Bikaner district of Rajasthan on a turnkey basis.
The scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar PV plant, including supply of PV modules. It also includes design and construction of the foundation and erection of the tracker-based module mounting structure (MMS) for PV panels, including fixing of PV modules on the MMS (tracker based) and PV modules interconnection.
The contractor will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the PV Plant along with electrical equipment for a period of three years from the date of commissioning of the full project capacity.
In a separate development, Gujarat Industries Power Co. Ltd (GIPCL) has tendered the balance-of-system package for 500 MW solar PV project at Great Rann of Kutch, near Khavda village in Gujarat.
Bidding closes on June 13.
