NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN), an arm of NTPC Ltd, has launched the tender to select channel partners for installation of grid-connected solar PV projects under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojna in Maharashtra.
The PM – Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana was launched by the Government to promote adoption of rooftop solar in the residential sector by providing central financial assistance for consumers. Under the scheme, there is a target to cover one crore households before March 31, 2027.
NVVN has registered as a vendor under PM – Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. Eight States/union territories have been allotted to NVVN Ltd, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
For installation of rooftop solar in the residential sector in the aforesaid states, NVVN desires to engage channel partners who in turn may interface with EPC vendors as well as the Discoms to complete the installation of rooftop solar project. The channel partner will act as an aggregator in the state of Maharashtra and may tie up with the multiple EPC vendors to complete the installation of the solar project. The customer enquiries obtained on the National Portal will be directed to channel partners by NVVN.
