NTPC Ltd has invited bids to develop 250 MW/500 MWh of grid-connected standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) at its Gadarwara and Solapur sites.
The prospective developer’s scope of work includes supply and transportation of the containerized battery storage, battery inverters/PCU, energy management systems (EMS) up to the respective project site; design and engineering of the BESS and integration of BESS and EMS with the grid and balance-of-system (BoS) infrastructure; comprehensive operation and maintenance of the equipment for project life; and commissioning of the BESS (battery, PCS and EMS).
Bidding closes on July 18.
