Gentari Green Mobility India, a company under clean energy solutions group Gentari, has launched its Gentari Go app in India. The app enables users seamlessly access clean energy solutions from home solar systems to green mobility services.

Gentari has partnered with Numocity, Statiq, and ChargeZone, providing its app users access to over 1,500 EV chargers across India.

Navjit Gill, Gentari’s country head for India, said, “Collaborating with partners, customers, and governments to achieve net zero is our priority. Today’s launch of the Gentari Go app and the new partnerships affirm our commitment to advancing clean energy.”

India’s transportation sector is a significant contributor to carbon emissions, with over 30% of the emissions coming from road transport. The nation targets achieving 30% electric vehicle (EV) penetration by 2030 and is therefore focusing on setting up the EV charging infrastructure.

Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India, said Gentari Go provides solutions that enable efficient decarbonization and improved operational efficiency for businesses.

The Gentari Go app features a simple, user-friendly interface that guides users through discovery of charging stations, payment methods, EV car rental and home solar solutions. The app will soon introduce in-app booking for test drives with leading EV brands in India. Fleet operators get access to an extensive network of public chargers, business credits, and telematics support for fleet management.

Charging point operators can seamlessly integrate with the Gentari Go roaming hub, connecting with both B2C and B2B customers. Car manufacturers and OEMs can enhance customer experiences with features like Membership Passes, Credits, AutoCharge, Plug & Charge, and in-car navigation.

Gentari Green Mobility has a network of more than 920 EV charging points across Malaysia, Thailand, and India. It has also deployed more than 3,800 EVs through its Vehicle-As-A-Service (VaaS) offering across India, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
