Gensol Engineering Ltd, a solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and electric mobility solutions provider, announced this week that it has received the Letter of Award (LOA) from a leading textile company to execute a 16 MWp rooftop solar project on turnkey basis. The project, worth INR 40 crore, is a repeat order for Gensol.
The rooftop solar plant will be installed at the client’s facility in Madhya Pradesh.
The project is set for commissioning within six months.
Gensol said the project will utilize high-efficiency bifacial solar modules, to maximize energy output and ensure long-term durability.
Shilpa Urhekar, chief executive officer, Solar EPC (India), Gensol Engineering Ltd. said, “When completed, this project will be amongst the biggest rooftop solar projects in India utilizing a large rooftop area.”
