Bondada Engineering secures 170.4 MW of distributed solar projects in Maharashtra

Bondada Engineering Ltd announced this week that it has received Letter of Award to set up 170.40 MW (DC) of grid-connected distributed solar power plants in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The projects are to developed under Mukhya Mantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 of the state government of Maharashtra.

Bondada was awarded the projects by the power purchase agreement (PPA) owners, namely, Paradigm IT Technologies and Metalcraft Forming Industries, both of which are software companies based out of India.

Bondada’s scope of work includes design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning of grid-connected distributed solar power plants for solarization of selected agri-feeders at substation (SS) level in the jurisdiction of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL), its associated 11 kV line to connect the plant with the concerned SS and remote monitoring system of solar power plants.

The solar projects are to be developed across various districts in Maharashtra.

The total contract value is INR 575.74 crore.
