Oriana Power Ltd announced this week that it has received a solar project worth INR 247.88 crore from Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. As per the terms of the order, Oriana Power will execute a 52 MW ground-mounted solar power project on EPC basis. The company’s scope also includes CTU approval, transmission lines, and complete operations & maintenance (O&M) support for five years.
As of Aug. 6, 2024, Oriana Power had more than 390 MW of cumulative capacity under execution. The company has delivered more than 240 MW of cumulative projects so far and has more than 900 MW of additional projects in the pipeline.
Oriana Power has a diverse portfolio of projects spread across 22 states in India. The company has tied up around 920 acres of land bank for renewable energy projects across India. Going forward, it aims to expand to Middle-East, Africa and Europe.
Oriana Power recently announced a strategic tie-up with US-based Green Hydrogen electrolyser manufacturer, Splitwaters. It plans to commission a giga-factory for producing electrolysers and Balance of Plant (BOP) modules – key components for green hydrogen and e-fuels production – with 500 MW capacity to be operational by 2026 and another 500 MW to be added in 2027.
