Rayzon Solar announced this week it has secured multiple contracts with Indian multinational EPC solutions provider Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for the supply of 216 MW of PV modules. The modules will be utilized in L&T’s floating solar projects in Panchet (Jharkhand) and Ramagundam (Telangana), and a ground-based PV project in Bihar.
Rayzon Solar will supply its monocrystalline, bifacial (glass-to-glass) 550 Wp modules for the projects.
“Rayzon Solar will supply state-of-the-art PV modules, specifically designed to deliver optimal performance in floating solar installations. This collaboration aims to harness clean energy from water surfaces, minimizing land use while maximizing solar energy output,” stated Rayzon Solar.
Rayzon Solar, founded in 2017, currently has 4 GW of PV module manufacturing capacity and plans to add 3 GW by December, followed by another 5 GW by September 2025. This will increase its cumulative module capacity to 12 GW per year. The company also plans to build a 1.2 GW cell line by the end of 2025.
