Solplanet, a China-based inverter manufacturer, unveiled its three-phase 350 kW solar inverter (model ASW350K-HT) for large-scale PV installations in India. The inverter’s maximum operating input current is 75 amps, ensuring compatibility with large PV modules. A high conversion efficiency of over 99% ensures that most of the energy produced by solar panels is effectively converted into usable power, minimizing energy loss.

The inverter has six independent MPPT inputs and up to five PV strings can be connected per MPPT input.

The inverter incorporates anti-PID function for PV modules, smart IV curve diagnosis, PV string monitoring, PLC communication (reducing the need for additional cabling), and reactive power function at night.

Equipped with IP66 and C5-M, the inverter is protected against dust, water, and corrosion, ensuring reliable performance in harsh conditions, including coastal and industrial environments. Other protection features include DC and AC terminal temperature detection, capability to handle fluctuating grid conditions, and smart DC connector disconnection.

Solplanet also manufactures on-grid inverters for residential and commercial & industrial segments. Ibrahim Kadriinamdar, Regional Sale Manager – India & MENA, Solplanet, said they see a big potential in India with governments visionary scheme like PM Surya Ghar Yojna and PM KUSUM. “Solplanet products are BIS approved and supplied through a distribution network in India. While the company has manufacturing facilities in China, based on the business demand, it may set up a local facility to support Indian consumers,” he added.

With strong footprint in European countries, Solplanet has ranked sixth globally according to S&P global PV Inverter shipment 2023. The company has presence across 40+ countries with dedicated sales and service network.
