SJVN launches 700 MW solar EPC tender

SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL), an arm of SJVN Ltd, has invited bids to set up 700 MW (100 MW x 7 plots) grid-connected solar projects on a turnkey basis in Khavda, Gujarat. The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance for a period of three years.

Out of 700 MW, a capacity of 500 MW (100 MW x 5 plots) will come up at GIPCL Renewable Energy Park, Khavda. The balance 200 MW (100 MW x 2 plots) is to be set up at GSECL Renewable Energy Park, Khavda.

Bidders can submit their proposals for capacities in multiples of 100 MW. The solar modules to be used for these projects must be sourced only from the model and manufactures included in the latest “Approved List of Models and Manufactures (ALMM)” issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
