ReNew Energy Global (ReNew), a Nasdaq-listed decarbonization solutions company in India, has announced its consolidated financial results for the second quarter ended September of fiscal year 2025 (Q2 FY 2025). Total income (or total revenue) for Q2 FY 2025 was INR 29,887 million ($357 million), compared to INR 28,632 million ($342 million) for Q2 FY 2024. Net profit for Q2 FY 2025 was INR 4,939 million ($59 million) compared to INR 3,771 million ($45 million) for Q2 FY 2024.
As of September 30, 2024, the company has a clean energy portfolio of 15.6 GW, compared to 13.8 GW as of Sep. 30, 2023. Subsequent to the end of the quarter, the company secured power purchase agreements (PPAs) for 700 MW of capacity taking the portfolio to 16.3 GW.
The company’s commissioned capacity has increased 21.8% year-over-year to 10.1 GW as of Sep. 30, 2024. Subsequent to the end of the quarter, it commissioned 250 MW of solar capacity, taking the total commissioned capacity to 10.4 GW.
