Renewable Energy Company Oriana Power Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan government to invest INR 10,000 crores for development of multiple projects across solar, floating solar, green hydrogen, and energy storage solutions.
The MoU was signed in Jaipur during the recently concluded Rising Rajasthan Global Summit 2024.
Oriana said it has identified six locations across the state for developing its projects, including one in Bikaner, two in Churu, and three locations in Phalodi district.
Oriana Power had recently reported a growth of 461.27% in its revenues for the half-year ended September 30, 2024, as compared to the same period last year. The company’s revenues stood at INR 359.54 crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2024. Oriana also reported that its order book is now standing at 500+ MW.
