EV battery manufacturer Neuron Energy has partnered with a two-wheeler original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to establish a manufacturing facility exclusively for electric two-wheeler batteries. Neuron Energy will supply lithium-ion battery packs for two-wheelers, with the plant initially rolling out 3,000 battery packs per month with a total energy output of 100 MWh. Over the next two years, the partnership aims to boost this capacity to 150 MWh through an investment of INR 150 crore.
Commenting on the partnership, Pratik Kamdar, CEO of Neuron Energy, stated, “By collaborating with the OEM, we are combining our expertise in battery technology with their strong market presence to deliver superior performance and reliability to consumers.”
Neuron Energy offers a comprehensive range of electric mobility solutions spanning from lead-acid to advanced lithium-ion and sodium-ion technologies, covering a wide array of applications beyond traditional vehicles.
