Servotech Renewable Power System (formerly known as Servotech Power Systems) has secured an order for installation of 1,094 solar-powered, grid-connected agriculture pumps under PM KUSUM Scheme’s Component C-1. The project was awarded by Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Authority (UPNEDA), Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, and is valued at around INR 31 crore.
Servotech’s scope includes manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of grid-connected agriculture pumps along with solar power plants. Furthermore, Servotech will provide comprehensive warranty maintenance for the next five years for pumps (ranging from 2 HP, 3 HP and 5 HP) with solar power plant (with capacities of 3 kW, 4.5 kW, and 7.5 kW) across Uttar Pradesh.
Sarika Bhatia, director, Servotech Renewable Power, said, “We understand the difficulties farmers experience when relying on diesel generators and traditional energy sources for irrigation and other agricultural purposes. This provides an opportunity to access clean, sustainable, and cost-effective solar energy solutions, which will help reduce dependency on grid electricity. Solar-powered irrigation and energy systems will lower the operational costs, increase productivity, and ultimately contribute to the prosperity of rural communities.”
Servotech Renewable Power System is an NSE-listed organization that develops tech-enabled EV charging and solar solutions leveraging their over two decades of experience in the electronics space. It offers an extensive range of AC and DC chargers which are compatible with different EVs and serve multiple applications such as commercial and domestic.
