Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has invited Expression of interest (EOI) from developers to set up floating solar PV projects on a build-own-operate basis at 35 dams and reservoirs identified in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
To support the development of floating solar power plants in Uttar Pradesh, the UPNEDA, in collaboration with the Irrigation and Water Resources Department, will lease dam/reservoir sites to the developers.
The floating solar power plant developers’ scope of work includes survey, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning with operations and maintenance of the floating solar plant and connect the same with the nearest state transmission utility/DISCOM substation along with commissioning of the project within the stipulated time period. The developer has to arrange for the power procurer by its own.
Interested developers must lodge their interest latest by Jan. 20, 2025
