Waaree Energies Ltd has secured the order for 150 MWp of solar modules for a renewable energy project in India. The order has been placed by a renowned customer engaged in owning, developing, and operating renewable power projects in India, said the company.
Under the contract, Waaree will supply its high-efficiency n-type TOPCon bifacial glass-glass modules, rated at 585/590 Wp.
The modules are scheduled to be supplied in the next financial year, 2025-26.
Headquartered in Mumbai, Waaree Energies operates manufacturing facilities with an installed capacity of 13.3 GW for solar PV modules (including 1.3 GW of Indosolar). The company’s latest 150 MWp contract follows PV module orders secured for 398 MW of solar projects in December.
