Solis has introduced the S6-EH3P(29.9-50)K-H Series three-phase energy storage inverters for commercial-scale solar energy storage applications. The series includes inverters in a power range from 29.9 kW to 50 kW. These inverters combine the functions of off-grid and on-grid inverters and can manage power from PV panels, batteries, and grid. These also support two types of generator connections to extend backup during grid power outage.
The inverters provide a maximum charge/discharge current of 140A/70A+70A across two independently controlled battery ports. These have four integrated MPPTs with a single-string current capacity of up to 20A per MPPT, which makes them compatible with high-power PV modules.
Whether for on or off-grid applications, the S6-EH3P(29.9-50)K-H series supports parallel operation of up to six units, with a backup port capable of supporting 1.6 times overload for short durations. The inverters are compatible with an array of batteries due to their wide voltage range, and offer peak shaving control in both “self-use” and “generator” modes.
Other features include 2 seconds of 160% overload capability; real-time battery monitoring, remote upgrade, and battery healing function to prolong battery life; and 200% DC/AC ratio providing full use of PV charging and allowing extended backup.
