Envision Energy India announced that it has secured orders from Juniper Green Energy (JGE) to supply 200 numbers of its EN182|5MW wind turbine generators and a 320 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) solution.
JGE will deploy wind turbine generators for its various projects won under State and Central level auctions and the BESS package for the firm dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project awarded by SJVN.
Envision said its energy storage solution comprising 5MWh 20-feet containerized storage units will be powered by high-safety, high-performance Lithium Ion 315Ah cells. The same will be integrated through an Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT)-based energy management system with the 3.45 MW power conversion system unit, with each of these three elements designed and manufactured by the Envision Group in compliance with the highest global standards. Envision will also provide comprehensive lifecycle operation and maintenance services.
Recently, Juniper Green Energy also placed an order with First Solar for the supply of 1 GW of advanced Series 7 FT1 cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules. Additionally, the company has signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with government entities like SJVN, GUVNL, and NTPC, further strengthening its renewable energy portfolio.
