Adani Green Energy Ltd has released the operational update for the first nine months ended December of FY 2024-25. The developer’s cumulative operational capacity as of Dec. 31, 2024 reached 11.6 GW with greenfield addition of 3,131 MW renewable energy capacity (solar-2,113 MW in Khavda, Gujarat, and 580 MW in Rajasthan; wind-438 MW in Gujarat) in the April-Dec. 2024 period. Sale of energy in 9M FY 2025 increased by 23% year-on-year to 20,108 million units backed by robust capacity addition.
In another key achievement during the period, AGEL signed a power purchase agreement with MSEDCL to supply 5 GW solar power for a period of 25 years.
AGEL shared that its overall operating RE capacity of 11.6 GW includes 7,756 MW solar, 2,140 MW hybrid, and 1,714 MW wind. Majority of the operating RE portfolio (92%) benefits from 25-year fixed-tariff power purchase agreements.
