Premier Energies announced this week it has secured multiple orders aggregating to INR 1,460 crore from two large private-sector power producers and others. These include INR 1,041-crore order for solar modules and INR 419-crore order for solar cells.
The supply of these cells and modules is scheduled to commence from May 2025.
The orders were received and accepted by Premier Energies arms Premier Global Environment, Premier Energies International, and Premier Energies Photovoltaic.
As on March 31, 2024, Premier Energies had 2 GW of annual installed capacity for cell manufacturing alongside its 4.13 GW of annual installed capacity for module manufacturing.
