Jupiter International, a solar PV cells manufacturer and solar power solutions provider, has secured an order worth over INR 3 crore from the West Bengal Khadi & Village Industries Board. The project involves supply, installation, and maintenance of rooftop grid-connected solar PV power plants across 23 locations in West Bengal.
The project, with a cumulative capacity of 0.5 MW, is set for completion within a year from the commencement date.
Jupiter International is headquartered in Kolkata and has a solar manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh with a capacity of 1 GW per year. Over the next three years, the company aims to establish itself as a fully integrated leader in solar manufacturing, with its ambitious plans to achieve 3 GW of wafer production, 9.4 GW of solar cell capacity, and 6 GW of module assembly.
