Waaree Energies Q3 profit grows 260% YoY

Waaree Energies has reported a total income of INR 35,452.65 million for the third quarter of FY 2025, which is 114.63% up year-on-year. Net profit (profit after tax) rose 260% YoY at INR 5,068.76 million.

Production in Q3 FY 2025 stood at 1.81 GW, a 68% growth YoY.

The company started trial production at its 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility. Its 1.6 GW solar module line in USA also commenced commercial production.

Waaree Energies said it has an order book of 26.5 GW valued INR 50,000 crore as on date.

The company is expanding footprints into adjacent businesses. Its board of directors has already approved capital expenditure amounting to INR 551 crore and an investment of INR 200 crore for seƫting up 300 MW of electrolyser manufacturing plant; capital expenditure amounting to INR 2,073 crore and investment of INR 650 crore for seƫting up a 3.5 GWh Lithium-ion advanced chemistry storage cell manufacturing plant; and capital expenditure amounting to INR 130 crore in inverter business.
