EPC solutions provider H.G. Infra Engineering has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary company, H.G. Gujarat Bess, to carry our business in the field of battery energy storage systems.
“H.G. Gujarat Bess Private Limited is incorporated in India as a ‘wholly owned subsidiary company as a special purpose vehicle in the state of Rajasthan and is yet to commence its business operations,” stated HG Infra.
Earlier, this month, the company announced that it had received a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd for setting up 250 MW/500 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems in Gujarat. It had won the project through competitive bidding in GUVNL’s auction for setting up 500 MW/1000 MWh of standalone battery energy storage systems with viability gap funding support.
