Navneet Mehrotra, director of Cliantech Solutions (a turnkey solutions provider for PV module manufacturing), told pv magazine that Cliantech has secured deals with Cosmic PV Power and Veda Solar to supply and set up giga-scale solar module lines. Cosmic PV Power, with Cliantech as the equipment supplier, is setting up a 1.6 GW solar module line, expanding its production capacity to 3 GW from 1.4 GW a present. The line is expected to start commercial production by June this year.
Cliantech will supply ASICPY EL tester, Gaorun’s line automation, HSPV Sun simulator and Visual Automation lamination equipment.
Cliantech will supply and set up a 1.5 GW solar module line for Veda Solar.
