Assam Power Distribution Co. Ltd (APDCL) has invited bids to install grid-connected rooftop solar PV power systems for residential consumers in Assam, under the government’s subsidy support scheme PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The PV plants will be implemented on Capex basis under the Utility-Led Aggregation (ULA) Model, targeting plant sizes ranging from 1 kWp to 3 kWp.
APDCL will implement the projects through the successful bidder at L1 rates discovered through this bid for three regions: Lower Assam Region, Upper Assam Region and Central Assam Region.
APDCL will allot region-wise applications to the successful L1 bidder. The central financial assistance (CFA) available from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) would be admissible as per MNRE scheme guidelines. The applicable state subsidy will also be disbursed to the bidders in addition to the CFA.
The scope of work includes survey, design, installation, supply, erection, testing, commissioning and five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of rooftop solar PV system for residential consumers on a turnkey mode. Ine installer will make all necessary arrangements for evacuation and injection of surplus power to the grid at the interconnection points as agreed with APDCL.
