Waaree Energies secures 362.5 MW solar module order with Engie India arm

Waaree Energies Ltd announced this week it has secured a significant order for 362.5 MW of its solar panels from Khaba Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Engie India. Under this contract, it will supply its 600Wp Elite BiN-08 n-type TOPCon solar modules.

Waaree said the modules will be deployed for NHPC, one of India’s premier hydroelectric power companies.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Waaree Energies operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities with an installed capacity of 15 GW for solar PV modules globally (including 1.3 GW of Indosolar and 1.6 GW in Texas, USA). The company also has 1.4 GW of cell manufacturing facility with an expansion planned up to 5.4 GW.
