Airox Nigen Equipments, a green hydrogen solution provider, has executed a 72 Nm3/hour green hydrogen project for Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corp.’s (TPSC) power system in Bangladesh. It deployed three units of skid-mounted system with compressor, each capable of producing 24 Nm³/hour from 120 kW alkaline electrolyzer

Airox Nigen was responsible for the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance of the hydrogen system.

“The project features an alkaline electrolyser capacity of 360 kW with a storage pressure of 10 bar, ensuring efficient hydrogen production and storage. The system enables hydrogen compression and cylinder filling at 150 bar, optimising its usability,” stated Airox. “The hydrogen-generated energy is seamlessly integrated into TPSC’s grid, enhancing grid stability and promoting sustainable energy usage. To ensure efficiency and reliability, a rigorous 96-hour Performance Guarantee Test Run (PGTR) was successfully conducted, validating the system’s capability for micro-grid applications.”

“This project marks a significant step in our vision to accelerate green hydrogen adoption across South Asia. By integrating hydrogen into TPSC’s grid, we are demonstrating how hydrogen can enhance energy security and sustainability for industries worldwide,” said Aniruddh Agrawal, Business Development Manager at Airox Nigen Equipments.
