Adani Green Energy’s arm Adani Saur Urja has received a long-term offtake deal with Uttar Pradesh Power Corp. Ltd (UPPCL) for 1,250 MW energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage projects. The company said Adani Saur Urja has received a letter of award (LOA) for procurement of 1,250 MW energy storage capacity from pumped hydro storage projects. It secured the capacity through the e-reverse auction conducted by UPPCL.
The annual fixed cost payable under the LOA is INR 76,53,226 per MW per annum (excluding taxes) for the entire period of 40 years from commissioning.
