JSW Neo Energy acquires Virya Infrapower

JSW Energy announced its arm JSW Neo Energy has acquired Jaipur based Virya Infrapower. With this, Virya Infrapower has become a step-down subsidiary of the company. Virya Infrapower is engaged in the business of development of renewable projects in India and its related activities.

“The acquisition provides [JSW] opportunity to acquire a ready renewable power site with necessary infrastructure to achieve accelerated project development,” stated JSW Energy.

The transaction is for an enterprise value of INR 7.54 crore.
