The Assam Power Distribution Co. Ltd has invited bids for the construction of a 400 kV/33 kV pooling substation for 1 GWp (750 MW AC) solar PV plant in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on turnkey basis. The scope of work includes design, engineering, erection, testing and commissioning of the pooling substation.
The cumulative cost of the 750 MW AC solar project is $672.68 million, financed with $434.25 million from ADB, $108.66 million from government and $129.77 million by private sector project loan (not ADB administered). Part of the ADB financing will be used for payments under the contract.
