NTPC announced today it has commissioned 245 MW capacity of its 735 Nokh solar PV project in Rajasthan. The 735 Nokh solar PV project comprises three blocks of 245 MW each. The entire project is being built with domestic content requirement (DCR) compliant modules.
The 245 Nokh solar addition follows commissioning of the last part capacity of 100 MW out of 320 MW Bhainsara solar PV project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, by NTPC Renewable Energy, a step-down subsidiary of NTPC Ltd.
NTPC’s total installed and commercial capacity on standalone and group basis has now reached 59,413 MW and 77,806.50 MW, respectively.
