AXITEC Energy India secures ALMM approval for 18 MW/year of solar module capacity

AXITEC, a Germany-based solar module manufacturer, has announced its inclusion in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. The enlisted capacity is 18 MW/year for five models of mono c-Si PERC modules with outputs ranging from 405 Wp to 580 Wp. The company said these solar modules will be manufactured at its latest facility in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, which has a production capacity of 300 MW.

The ALMM certification is a critical benchmark for solar manufacturers, ensuring that only high-quality and performance-tested modules are used in government and utility-scale solar projects. The PV modules on ALMM list comply with the Bureau of Indian Standards and meet the MNRE;s module efficiency criteria for utility-scale, rooftop, solar pump, and solar lighting applications.

“With ALMM approval, AXITEC further strengthens its reputation as a preferred choice for solar developers, EPCs, and end users looking for sustainable and efficient energy solutions,” said Tanmoy Duari, CEO, AXITEC Energy India. “This recognition validates our dedication to superior manufacturing standards, innovation, and reliability in the solar industry.”

The ALMM approval enables AXITEC Energy India to participate in government-backed solar projects, tenders, and subsidy programs.
