Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy wins solar, hybrid projects worth INR 1,470 crore
Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy has secured a 127 MW AC hybrid wind-solar project and a solar project in Rajasthan. It has also emerged lowest bidder for a 200 MW AC (260 MWp DC) solar project in Gujarat.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd (SWREL) announced that it has received letter of awards for two domestic projects, and has been declared lowest bidder for a 200 MW AC solar project. The cumulative order value of the three domestic projects combined is INR 1,470 crore including taxes and operation and maintenance (O&M) contract.
The company has received LoA for a hybrid wind-solar project in Rajasthan, marking its foray into wind EPC. Its scope of work includes engineering, procurement and construction of a 69.3 MW AC wind balance-of-plant, and 58 MW AC/75 MWp DC solar balance-of-system (BoS), along with a 132 kV/ 33 kV pooling substation.
The company said it has also emerged L1 bidder for a 200 MW AC (260 MWp DC) PV project in Gujarat, India, by a leading public-sector developer. Further, it has received a letter of award for a PV plant in Rajasthan, from a domestic private-sector power producer.
