Kosol Energie announced today it has secured a 400 MW PV module supply order through Zetwerk for NTPC’s 1.6 GW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat.
“NTPC hired Zetwerk to supply modules for this project. Zetwerk, in turn, placed the order with us. Out of the total 400 MW order, 55 MW has already been supplied to the site. The balance will be supplied in the next two-three months,” Kosol Energie spokesperson told pv magazine.
Kosol is supplying 550W mono PERC glass-to-backsheet bifacial modules for Khavda Solar Project.
Following vendor and quality approval by NTPC, Kosol Energie qualified as Category-1 prime supplier for NTPC’s 1.6 GW Khavda Solar Project. The modules are designed for harsh conditions in Khavda.
Kosol Energie has expanded its solar panel manufacturing capacity to 3.1 GW with a fully automated facility adhering to world-class manufacturing standards. It has installed 2.2 GW of solar power projects across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
