Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) released this week an operational update for fiscal 2024-25. The developer’s cumulative operational renewable energy capacity increased to 14.2 GW as of March 31, 2025, up 30% from 10.9 GW at the end of FY 2024, and is set to increase to 15.2 GW with additional 1 GW expected to be operationalized by May 15, 2025.
AGEL commissioned a significant 3.3 GW of greenfield RE capacity in FY 2025, which includes 2.7 GW solar power plants (1.46 GW in Khavda, Gujarat, 1 GW in Rajasthan and 250 MW in Andhra Pradesh) and 599 MW wind power plants in Khavda, Gujarat.
Energy sales in FY 2025 were 28% up year-on-year to 27,969 million units, backed by robust capacity addition.
