BrightNight has secured a power purchase agreement with state-owned NTPC to supply 110 MW AC of firm and dispatchable renewable energy. It had won the capacity in NTPC’s 3 GW renewables-plus-storage tender, by quoting a competitive price of INR 4.72/kWh.
The developer said it will deliver the power from its 350 MWp solar-wind project with 100 MWh battery energy storage system in Rajasthan, connected to the interstate transmission system, under a 25-year PPA.
