Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has posted a stellar performance for fiscal year FY 2024-25 with a revenue from power supply of INR 9,495 crore, 23% up year-on-year from INR 7,735 crore in FY 2024. EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) from power supply was 22% up to INR 8,818 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 91.7%. Cash profit increased 22% to INR 4,871 crore.
The company stated that the robust growth in its revenue, EBITDA and cash profit was primarily driven by the capacity addition of 3,309 MW over last year.
Operational capacity increased by 30% YoY to 14.2 GW (10.1 GW solar, 2 GW wind and 2.14 GW hybrid) with greenfield addition of 3.3 GW in FY 2025. Additional 1 GW is near completion, which will take the cumulative operational capacity to 15.2 GW.
Sale of energy increased by 28% YoY at 27,969 million units backed by robust capacity addition.
In FY 2025, the company operationalized 2.7 GW solar power plants (1.46 GW in Khavda, Gujarat, 1 GW in Rajasthan, and 250 MW in Andhra Pradesh) and 599 MW wind power plants in Khavda, Gujarat.
