India’s Mecwin has unveiled compact, wall-mountable lithium battery inverters with 1,100 VA and 2,100 VA ratings. The 1,100 VA devices measure 455 mm x 530 mm x 235 mm and weigh 23 kg. The built-in battery can be charged with grid power and solar electricity.

Webdyn India crosses 4.2 GW mark, Fimer supplies inverters for solar-plus-storage project

Webdyn’s Indian unit has supplied remote monitoring tech and hybrid power management solutions for 4.2 GW of solar plants since 2015, while Italian inverter maker Fimer has supplied its 1 MVA inverters for a new integrated solar-plus-storage project in Gujarat.

Sungrow signs inverter supply contract for 75 MW of solar projects in Uttar Pradesh

The Chinese manufacturer will supply its 3.125 MW central inverter solution SG3125HV for the 75 MW solar power project being set up by state-owned hydropower producer SJVN Limited.

Growatt nearing 1 GW of solar inverter shipments in India this year

The Chinese inverter maker has expanded its offerings in India beyond commercial and residential solar sector by launching 250 and 253 kW inverters for the utility segment. It also plans to bring its offgrid solutions to the Indian market in 2022.
