BluPine Energy, a leading renewable energy services company established in India by global infrastructure investor Actis, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Amazon for a 99 MW wind energy project in India. The project will generate approximately 360 MU of renewable electricity annually, equivalent to powering 115,000 households, while offsetting more than 250,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
This collaboration reinforces both companies’ efforts toward sustainable growth and carbon reduction while speeding up the adoption of renewable energy in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector. This also marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s C&I expansion, bringing its total C&I capacity to 800 MW, with a clear roadmap to scale to 1 GW.

With this project, BluPine Energy’s total renewables capacity has reached 3 GW, including 1 GW of operational capacity across 30 sites in 9 states in India.
